The BPAIIG Diagnostics & Therapeutics Research Group was formed in 2007 to encourage and facilitate collaborative research among members. In April 2008, the BPAIIG agreed that the organisation should have one collaborative research group for Medicines or “Non-medicines” research, and that the best forum for this would be in association with the Clinical Research Network (Children Specialty) Clinical Studies Group for Allergy, Immunology and Infectious Diseases (www.crn.nihr.ac.uk/children), current Chair Saul Faust.
