Infectious Diseases

Infectious diseases account for around 50% of all paediatric admissions and is an important area of paediatrics.

Sub-specialists investigate and manage children with unusual, recurrent or severe infections which may include children with tuberculosis (TB), HIV infection and imported infections following travel.
